Marwa is an Egyptian-Algerian mechanical engineering student at UNC Charlotte, pursuing her undergraduate degree and enrolled in the early entry Ph.D. Passionate about breaking barriers in STEM, she started her journey as a lab assistant at Central Piedmont Community College and is currently gaining industry experience as a Product Engineer Co-op at Genpak, focusing on research and design. She is actively involved in cutting-edge research on energy systems and battery technology, contributing to innovations in collaboration with the university’s BATT CAVE energy research.
